Publishing an AnroAgents agent to the AGNTCY directory

Publishing your agent where other AI agents can find and call it.

The AGNTCY directory is a public catalogue where AI agents are registered so that other agents — and the platforms running them — can discover and talk to them. AnroAgents publishes your agent into it, which makes your business reachable not only by people browsing your site but by software acting on someone's behalf.

Why it matters

The reason to publish an AnroAgents agent to a directory is that the way people find suppliers is changing. When a buyer asks their own assistant to find a supplier, that assistant searches agent directories, not a page of blue links. A business with no agent registered anywhere is invisible to that search.

Being listed in the AGNTCY directory means another company's agent can ask yours what you offer, at what price, on what terms — and get a reliable answer at three in the morning without a form or a phone call.

How to publish

Publish an AnroAgents agent from the Directory tab on the agent's detail screen. The first version of an agent is reviewed by our team before it is listed; the review checks that the agent represents a real business and behaves acceptably.

Once an AnroAgents agent has been approved, later edits are published automatically. You do not go back into review every time you change a price or add a service.

An AnroAgents agent can be removed from the directory at any time from the same tab. Removing it from the directory does not affect the widget on your website, which keeps working exactly as before.

AGNTCY skills

AnroAgents generates the agent's skills for the directory automatically from your business description and services. Skills are the taxonomy the directory uses to classify what an agent can do, and they are what makes your agent findable by capability rather than by name.

You can see the generated skills of an AnroAgents agent on its detail screen. They are regenerated when the underlying business information changes, so the listing tracks the agent.

A2A and the wider ecosystem

AnroAgents agents speak A2A, the agent-to-agent protocol, which is what allows an agent from another platform to hold a conversation with yours rather than merely reading a listing.

AnroAgents also runs its own node of the agent directory, and publishes a public catalogue of listed agents at https://directory.anroagents.com, so a listed agent is discoverable both through the AGNTCY network and directly on the web.
