Paying for AnroAgents

How subscriptions, overage, crypto payment and cancellation work.

Everything about money in AnroAgents lives on the Billing screen of the dashboard: choosing a plan, paying, watching usage, editing billing details and downloading invoices.

For prices and what each plan includes, see the AnroAgents pricing document — this one is about the mechanics.

Subscribing

Subscribe in AnroAgents by choosing a plan on the Billing screen and paying by card. Billing is monthly or annual, and the choice can be changed later. Annual billing costs ten monthly payments, so two months are free.

AnroAgents also accepts cryptocurrency. Choose "Pay with Crypto" on the Billing screen and the payment is handled by our payment provider; the subscription activates once the transaction is confirmed on-chain, which usually takes minutes.

Before subscribing to AnroAgents you must fill in your billing details, at minimum the country, because that determines the VAT treatment of the invoice. The Billing screen prompts for this if it is missing.

Upgrading and downgrading

Change plan in AnroAgents from the Billing screen at any time. An upgrade takes effect immediately, so a higher message allowance and the features of the new plan are available at once.

A downgrade in AnroAgents applies from the next billing period. If the lower plan allows fewer agents than you currently have, decide which agents stay active before the change takes effect. On a move to the Free plan, agents set to the advanced reply model go back to the standard model, and you are told by email and in the dashboard which ones.

Extra agents on Business

The Business plan of AnroAgents includes 10 agents, and the account owner can add more from the Billing screen: €19.90 per extra agent a month, or €199 a year on annual billing (ten months of twelve, like the plan), plus VAT where it applies. Extra agents are sold only on Business; the other plans keep their fixed number of agents.

Set the number of extra agents in AnroAgents in the "Extra agents" box of the Billing screen. Before you confirm, it shows the new plan total per month or year and what is charged today. Only the account owner can change it; managers cannot.

Adding extra agents in AnroAgents mid-period charges the difference straight away, for the part of the current period that is left — two extra agents with half a month remaining cost about one month of one agent. The agents are available as soon as the payment is confirmed, and from the next renewal the plan is billed with them included.

Reducing extra agents in AnroAgents costs nothing and applies from the next billing period; until then you keep the agents you paid for, but you cannot create agents beyond the new number. You cannot reduce below the number of agents the account has: delete agents first, then reduce.

Each extra agent also adds 5,000 messages a month to the Business pool. On the invoice, extra agents are their own line ("Additional agents × N", in your language), next to the plan.

If you pay for Business by cryptocurrency, the difference for adding agents mid-period is paid by card, and your next crypto payment is priced with the extra agents included. Extra agents need a paid Business subscription that renews: they are not available during a trial or promotional period, or on a subscription that has been cancelled and is running out.

Extra agents end with the Business plan. If the account moves to another plan, or Business ends and the account falls to Free, the extra agents are removed; if more agents are active than the new plan allows, the newest are switched off — nothing is deleted — and you are told by email and in the dashboard.

Message usage and overage

The Billing screen of AnroAgents shows how many messages you have used this month against the plan's allowance, and the Analytics screen shows the same figure alongside the traffic that produced it.

The monthly message allowance of AnroAgents is one pool for the whole account: every agent draws on it, so a busy agent can use what a quiet one leaves. The Starter plan includes 2,000 messages a month, Pro 10,000 and Business 50,000. On Business, every extra agent bought beyond the ten included adds 5,000 messages to the pool.

A reply written on the advanced model counts as 15 messages of the AnroAgents pool; a reply on the standard model counts as one. The advanced model is chosen per agent in its settings (Starter, Pro and Business), and the Billing screen splits the month's usage into messages from standard replies and advanced replies × 15, so you can see where the pool went. Beyond the pool, advanced replies are overage at the same ×15: 1,000 advanced replies past the limit are 15,000 extra messages.

On the paid plans, an AnroAgents agent keeps working past the included messages and the extra is billed at the start of the following month: €7 per 1,000 messages on Starter, €6 on Pro and €5 on Business, counted in started blocks of 1,000, plus VAT where it applies. The Billing screen shows the running estimate as it accrues and, before you reach the limit, the rate that will apply. Overage is charged in euros, like the subscription, and every amount on the Billing and Referrals screens is shown in the currency it is charged or paid in; payments made before the switch to euros keep their original currency in the payment history.

AnroAgents tells you by email and in the dashboard when your agents have used 80% of the month's messages, and again at 100% on a paid plan, saying that overage now applies and at what rate. Each notice is sent once a month. On the Free plan the 80% notice says the agents will stop at the limit instead.

On plans without an overage rate, an AnroAgents agent stops replying when the monthly allowance runs out, and resumes at the start of the next month or immediately on upgrade. You are emailed and notified in the dashboard the first time this happens in a month, because the agent going quiet is otherwise invisible from your side.

Unpaid overage in AnroAgents eventually blocks messaging. You are told by email and in the dashboard before that happens, with the amount and the date; paying the outstanding balance restores the agents at once.

Fair use and anti-abuse limits

The AnroAgents website chat has limits that protect your allowance from automated traffic. One visitor can send up to 20 messages in five minutes and 150 a day, and one agent answers up to 600 widget messages an hour across all its visitors. A visitor over a limit is asked, in their own language, to wait a few minutes; that message is not sent to the AI and is not counted against your allowance. If an agent reaches its hourly limit, you get an email and a dashboard notice the same day, at most once a day per agent. Traffic like that is almost always a script, but if it was a real rush of customers, write to support@anroagents.com and the limit can be raised for you.

A single visitor message in AnroAgents can be up to 4,000 characters long, and a conversation can hold up to 5 photos.

A visitor who opens the chat while messaging is blocked — for either reason — is told only that the chat is temporarily unavailable and invited to get in touch another way. They are not told anything about your account, your plan or a balance: that is between you and AnroAgents, and the person reading it is on your website looking for your business.

Cancelling

Cancel an AnroAgents subscription from the Billing screen. Cancellation is immediate to arrange and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — nothing is cut off early. The day before that period ends you are reminded by email and in the dashboard.

When a paid AnroAgents plan ends — cancelled, a failed payment, or a crypto-paid term that was not renewed — the account moves to the Free plan rather than switching off. One agent keeps answering visitors within the Free limits: one active agent and the Free monthly message allowance, without the paid features. If you had more agents running, the oldest stays on and the others are switched off; you can choose which one stays on from its detail screen. Telegram and WhatsApp stay connected but stop answering, because those channels are not part of Free. Nothing is deleted. Your agents, conversations, knowledge base and settings stay in the account, and subscribing again brings every paid feature back at once, together with the agents that were switched off. If a failed card payment goes through on a later retry, the same happens on its own.

An AnroAgents promotional link gives a paid plan, typically Pro, free for a set period, usually a month; a claimed demo agent comes with a 14-day Pro trial. Neither asks for a card and neither renews by itself. The day before the free period ends you get an email and a dashboard notice in your interface language, saying when it ends and, if your agents held more than one conversation over the last month, how many. Subscribe before then to keep the plan; otherwise the account moves to the Free plan as described above, and the agent keeps answering.

Refunds

AnroAgents does not operate an automatic refund flow in the dashboard. If a payment went wrong — a double charge, a subscription that failed to activate after a crypto payment, a plan bought by mistake — write to support with the invoice number and it is dealt with by a person.
