Activation and moderation in AnroAgents

What activation means, when moderation applies, and what it checks.

An AnroAgents agent moves through three things that people often conflate: it is saved, it is activated, and — optionally — it is listed in the agent registry.

Saving keeps a draft

Saving an AnroAgents agent stores everything you have entered and nothing more. A saved agent is a Draft: its greeting, title and proactive triggers are not served yet, its own hosted page returns nothing, and a connected Telegram bot stays silent.

Draft is where an agent sits while you are still filling the form. It is not a queue and nothing happens to it on its own.

Activation puts the agent to work

Activating an AnroAgents agent is the step that makes it real: the chat widget on your site serves your greeting and your settings, the agent's hosted page opens, and Telegram starts answering. Activation is the green button at the end of the agent form, and it needs an active subscription — the agent will not answer anyone without one.

Once activated, an agent stays active. Later edits publish immediately: change a price, add a service, upload a document, and the change is live as soon as you save.

An agent can be disabled from its detail screen, which stops it answering visitors while keeping everything configured; re-enabling is one press. An agent is also disabled automatically when the subscription behind it expires. Nothing is deleted, and paying reactivates the agent as it was.

Moderation, when it is switched on

AnroAgents can require a first-version check before an agent goes live. When that is on, activating puts the agent In Review instead: it cannot be edited while it waits, you are notified by email when the check completes, and the outcome with any notes appears on the agent's detail screen. Only the first version is ever checked — after approval, edits publish immediately, exactly as they do without moderation.

The check confirms that the agent represents a real business, that the description matches what the agent actually does, and that the configuration does not instruct the agent to mislead people. It is not an audit of your prices or a judgement of your market. An agent is rejected when it is empty or nonsensical, when it impersonates another company, or when it is set up to deceive — for example configured to claim credentials or approvals the business does not hold.

Listing in the registry is separate

Publishing an AnroAgents agent to the agent registry — where other people's AI assistants can find it and call it — is its own optional step, on the Discovery tab of the agent's page. It requires a plan that includes registry listing, and it is independent of activation: an active agent serves your website whether or not it is listed anywhere.
