Lead qualification in AnroAgents
BANT, MEDDIC and custom frameworks — structured discovery inside a normal conversation.
Lead qualification in AnroAgents makes the agent run a structured discovery during the chat: it collects the fields a salesperson would ask about — budget, authority, need, timing — scores the lead out of 100, and marks it as qualified once it passes the threshold you set.
Lead qualification is configured per agent in the Integrations step of the AnroAgents agent form. Basic BANT qualification is available from the Starter plan; MEDDIC and custom frameworks come with Pro and above.
The frameworks
BANT in AnroAgents collects Budget, Authority, Need and Timing. It is the general-purpose choice and suits most businesses selling a service with a decision-maker on the other side.
MEDDIC in AnroAgents collects the fuller enterprise set — metrics, economic buyer, decision criteria, decision process, identified pain, champion — and suits longer B2B cycles where the deal is lost by not knowing who signs.
A Custom framework in AnroAgents lets you define the fields yourself. Each field has a label, a key, a hint telling the agent how to phrase the question or what to extract, a required flag and a weight that determines how much it contributes to the score.
How insistent the agent should be
An AnroAgents agent qualifies in one of three completion modes.
Soft mode in AnroAgents collects answers only when the conversation allows it and never pushes. Use it when the visitor experience matters more than the data — a first-touch consumer site, for instance.
Persistent mode in AnroAgents gently circles back to unanswered required fields every two or three turns. This is the default worth starting from for B2B: it gets the data without turning the chat into a questionnaire.
Strict mode in AnroAgents redirects the visitor until the required fields are answered. It gathers the most and converts the worst; reserve it for cases where an unqualified conversation genuinely has no value.
The score and the threshold
Each qualification field in AnroAgents carries a weight, and the score out of 100 is the weighted proportion of fields answered. The Qualify threshold is the minimum score at which the lead counts as qualified — and it is that crossing which fires the lead.qualified webhook and shows the qualified badge in Conversations.
Conversations in the AnroAgents dashboard can be filtered to qualified leads only, and each conversation shows its score, so the morning review is a filtered list rather than a scroll through everything.
What the visitor sees
The visitor never sees any of it. In AnroAgents the score, the qualified status, the field list and the timeline are yours alone, and the agent is explicitly instructed not to announce that it is qualifying anyone. The questions are woven into the conversation as a good salesperson would ask them.
Qualification and the rest of the funnel
A qualified lead in AnroAgents feeds everything downstream: the conversion funnel on the Analytics screen counts it, the HubSpot integration can create a deal from it, follow-up emails can be restricted to qualified leads only, and a webhook can push it into any other system the moment it qualifies.
